As part of the G20 Leaders’ Summit held in Buenos Aires, Argentine President Mauricio Macri and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a bilateral meeting this morning in Costa Salguero.
Both presidents called for developing trade relations and strengthening ties with other sectors, particularly in technology, through the Argentine state-owned enterprise INVAP.

Erdogan invited Macri and his team to visit Istanbul next year to continue fostering relations between the two countries. Lastly, he reaffirmed that his country will continue to support Argentina’s efforts to become part of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Argentine Chief of Cabinet, Marcos Peña; Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Jorge Faurie; Argentine Minister of the Treasury, Nicolás Dujovne; and Argentine Secretary for Strategic Affairs, Fulvio Pompeo, also attended the bilateral meeting.
