Las telas no han dejado de pasar por el único bastidor que Luis Lonjedo tiene en su casa. Desde que se decretó el estado de alarma y ante la imposibilidad de desplazarse
a su estudio, este pintor valenciano marcó dos puntos de trabajo en su piso del centro de la capital del Turia tras hacerse a si mismo una pregunta: «¿Y si pinto lo que estoy viendo por la ventana?». La respuesta la ha ido encontrando a lo largo de este mes y medio en once pequeños lienzos -de apenas 46×35 centímetros-, que retratan su visión del mundo confinado y con los que ha roto tanto con las técnicas como las temáticas con las que trabajaba. Dos ventanales convertidos en miradores. Uno ofrece una vista general de Conde Salvatierra, una de las vías más céntricas de Valencia. El otro da a «un patio de manzana que yo creo que es el más grande del mundo», en el que confluyen varias calles. «No se acaba nunca. Siempre salen motivos, detalles nuevos y todos tienen algo especial que los une. Ha retratado a los jugadores que han pasado por el Valencia CF con motivo del centenario del club, ofreció su versión del Mercado Central de la ciudad e incluso pintó a Marc Márquez en directo, subido en su moto. Pero sin duda su obra más viral ha sido el mural de «El beso» que uno se encuentra paseando por la calle Moret, en pleno centro histórico de la capital, y que parte de una fotografia que un alumno suyo -fue profesor durante 20 años en el Colegio El Pilar- realizó a una pareja anónima en el metro de Londres. Un retrato de la noche Ahora, encerrado en casa con su mujer y sus dos hijos, el pintor se ha visto obligado a reinventarse, algo que cree que «te enriquece y te mantiene vivo». Las luces encendidas para mí son un símbolo de esperanza», señala. Por ello, decidió recoger en el proceso pictórico esa búsqueda de la luz «en unos momentos complicados e inciertos para todos».
